Our ten-step process
The first step is using blast media, such as walnut shells or New Age Glass. The second step is to do a high-pressure blast to remove media from the structure. The third step is to sand logs using large sanders and various grits of sandpaper, as well as grind log ends for later application of Permachink log end seal. The fourth step is to blow off the dust from sanding. The fifth step is Log Wash with Permachink Log Wash. The Sixth step is mask windows etc. The next three steps are applying three coats of Permachink 5-year warranty stain. The final step is using the log end seal. There are other steps depending on your style of build.
